Education not Schooling

Because children’s holistic education matters, at Olive Mount Preparatory School, we do not teach like a typical school. We do not believe that success should always be measured against examination results. 

Our vision is to develop the whole child, so they leave Olive Mount Preparatory School with the skills to continue to thrive and achieve academically and personally and make a positive contribution to the community, whatever their starting points.

For this reason, pupils must be courteous and polite as they move around school. Pupils should be motivated learners, well spoken, and show respect for one another. They must understand the school values of ambition, confidence, empathy, and respect.
